Festival 2018 was a state-wide arts and cultural program initiated by the Office of the Commonwealth Games to coincide with the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018 (GC2018). Event City, Brisbane provided arts and cultural activities from 4-15 April 2018.

When developing the aesthetic, we focused on F18 key objectives such as Transformation, Indigenous and First Nations involvement, Celebration, Change, Diversity and Inclusivity. We reached out with projects to Indigenous mural artists, bamboo weavers, lantern makers, carpenters and local graphic designers, culminating in a cohesive activated site.

Supplying complete design services for this fortnight of festivities jam packed with art, music and community was a standout for us. Culminating in MEEANJIN (Traditional language for Brisbane) sitting atop the quintessential BRISBANE sign for all to acknowledge made our hearts burst!
